About TISC

From creativity to protection — your IP journey starts here.

Technology and Innovation Support Centers (TISCs) are designed by World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to provide innovators in developing countries with access to locally based, high quality technology information services and other related services. TISC office was established at Karakoram International University (KIU) in 23rd April 2025 with collaboration of Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan and Intellectual Property Organization (IPO) Pakistan under Office of Research Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC).

Objectives

Primary objective of TISC network is to promote the use of patent information among the researchers, entrepreneurs, IP mangers, attorneys, government officials and policy makers by making national and international intellectual property databases accessible to them.
